DESCRIPTION
I have been a massage therapist and body worker since 1983, licensed in Washington State and Hawaii. I am insured with the International Massage Association.
OMI Muscular Integration is a synthesis of Massage and Bodywork techniques. OMI works on the deep tissue of the body with just the right amount of pressure for the client at the time of the treatment. The purpose of OMI is to align the body to its optimum functionality.
OMI bodywork creates a dynamic change in the body's physical and mental capabilities. OMI Bodywork is done in progressive treatments to improve the body tissue as the multifaceted layering of the body's muscular structure unfolds to more ease, grace and relaxation. As the body improves, so does the client's mental and emotional state. Breath, posture and awareness are tools that incorporate and maintain the change.
OMI works well for the individuals that want to make change and improve their physical function. Pain is an indicator that a misalignment or holding in the body needs to be addressed. The body needs to release the strings, lumps, bumps and realign the layers for optimum functionality.
